I am St Paul and I have written this letter to you because I believe that there are some important lessons that I must teach you. First we will start with a prayer to help us connect with the Lord.
Lord,
I ask if you could give these students of year 8 Loreto Normanhurst the strength to become more patient and expectant towards anyone that may come into their lives. They are very thankful for all valuable experiences that you have offered them throughout their lives.
Amen.
I believe that the students in Year 8 need to start living by the values of not being racist towards other people. This could start by treating other nationalities just like you treat your friends. Every student should be given the same opportunities in their school life no matter their nationality. God has always asked us to be excepting of all people and we must do what he asks.
Another thing that I have written to you about is asking you to always welcome new people into friendship groups and all areas of your life. Whenever someone is in search of a new friend, they should always be able to find someone that is willing to love them unconditionally despite their reputation or appearance.
Anyone who attends any school should always be accepted for who they are. This means that they should always feel supported and comfortable to share their culture with whoever they choose. To ensure that they can feel like this no one should ever embarrass them or make them look silly.
We are all Gods’ children and everyone should always be treated and treat others respectfully. If Year 8 Loreto Normanhurst is able to live by these guides a more excepting and encouraging learning space will be created.
